Christmas marble treat

The children have all been little stars this term and have filled the marble jar once again. They decided that they would like to have a Christmas party and this morning they have been playing party games and have had some party food. It has also been the FOSS Christmas lunch today and the children have all had a really fun time! We even had a special visitor all the way from the North Pole! Thank you FOSS for organising such a fantastic Christmas lunch for the school!

I hope you all have a wonderful (and restful) Christmas!

Hanukkah

This week in RE we have been learning about Hanukkah.Hanukkah is the Jewish Festival of Lights and lasts eight days. It usually falls in late November or December. We have been busy making Menorahs and the Star of David. The Menorah is a candelabrum with nine candle holders displayed in Jewish synagogues and the Star of David is a Jewish symbol.
