Nest building

Today we have been learning about why birds build nests. We have also looked at different birds' eggs and talked about which birds they came from. We then worked together in small groups to build our own birds' nests in the forest area. When we finished Miss Houlihan popped some eggs into our nests. Have a look at them below!

Cotswold Farm Park

As part of our topic on 'Animals' we have been learning about farm animals and for our school trip we visited Cotswold Farm Park. We had a really good day, even though it rained all afternoon! We did lots of different activities like going on a tractor ride, feeding animals, watching sheep shearing and finding clues to make our way out of the Lion's Maze! We also learnt about different baby animals that live on a farm and we even got to hold chicks and ducklings!

We saw lots of animals on the trailer ride

Do you know what a baby duck is called?

How cute!
