Pirates and Mermaids
This half term our new topic is called 'Pirates and Mermaids'. Our role-play area is set up as a pirate ship and we are having lots of fun pretending to be pirates and mermaids. In literacy we have been designing treasure maps and writing labels for the different features on our maps. We have also designed treasure maps on the computer and made a class book of all our fantastic maps. In maths we have started adding and taking away using our fingers to help us find the answers.

Circus Skills
This week we have had circus skills workshops and we have learnt lots of circus skills such as juggling and plate spinning. We have also been doing activities such as balancing feathers, walking the tightrope, pedal racers and riding the small bikes. We then showed off our skills at a circus show in the afternoon and everyone did a great job!

Children in Need 2014
Well done to all of the children who took part in Sedgeberrow's Got Talent, you were all fantastic! A special well done to the two children in Reception who were exceptionally brave and performed at the talent show in front of all of the parents, children and staff!!! I'm very proud of both of you and so is the rest of the school.
Through the donations for the talent show and for non-school uniform on Friday we were able to raise lots of money for Children in Need. Well done everybody!
