Treasure Maps

This week the children have been creating their own treasure maps. They worked  together in their groups to draw different geographical features on a map and then write a label next to each picture. Take a look at the photos below, I think you'll agree with me that they all look fantastic!

Happy New Year!

I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and are well rested for the term ahead! Thank you so much for the lovely Christmas gifts, they were very much appreciated!

This term we will be starting our new topic 'Pirates and Mermaids'. The children are very excited about our new topic and have been very busy converting our role-play area into a Pirate Ship and Mermaid Cove. We have lots of fun and interesting activities ahead of us and we will keep you in touch about what we have been learning.

Thank you...

A big thank you for all of the  lovely gifts I recieved on the last days of term! A special thanks for the gift vouchers; it was an excellent present that I have already used to update my Ipod.

I have really enjoyed my last year at Sedgeberrow and it wouldn't of been as special without the highly supportive and kind parents and of course the fantastic children!

Lots of love and best wishes for Year 1.
